Hi, the docking display layout could be amended so the readouts for the various items are made larger to be easily seen on say a 12” laptop from 3m away. When berthing the distance and approach speeds to the navlines are very small. Even the bow, stern fwd/aft speeds are very small considering the size of the docking panel. Seems the docking panel currently has enough spare space to make the readouts all much larger. With the laptop usually located on a console or in a bracket away from the side of the vessel, pilots have to continually move from the ships side and get close to the laptop to see the data they need and being produced by Q3. Reducing the look away time from the action to see the data, will be a great help.
Brgds,
Jon.
